MERRY CHRISTMAS AND DECEMBER NEWS

You'll hear that vitamin E increases the risk of prostate cancer.  This is a surprise...but it's true.  400 units per day may increase the risk of hemorrhagic stoke and heart failure in patients with diabetes or heart disease.  Multivitamins are still ok as long as they contain small amounts.

You have seen ads on TV for "Low T" or low testosterone.  It can happen in men and women.  It is highly prevalent among aging men, particularly among men who are obese and in those with metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and other chronic conditions.  Testosterone is new understood to be an integral component of many metabolic pathways associated with body composition, cardiometabolic risk profile, and general well-being.  treatment for this condition would require a doctor visit and lab tests prior to and during therapy.

The staff of THE CLINIC PHARMACY wishes you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

We appreciate your patronage this past year and look forward to serving you and improving your health next year.
