Allergies are a real problem at this time.

Today the allergy count is very high for weeds. If we get more rain it may wash some of the pollen out of the air. However, may people are experiencing allergy symptoms such as scratchy throat, stopped up head, runny nose, red watery eyes, or drainage. Often times the cough that accompanies allergies is caused by drainage on the back of the throat. Antihistamines such as Benadryl, Allegra, Claritin, or Zyrtec which are all over the counter can be used to alleviate symptoms . Decongestants can be used if you are stopped up. Saline nose spray or a nasal wash system (such as Netti pot reccomended by Dr. Oz ) can help.
